I wonder whether you may have information regarding the way you handle medicines returned from the security officers following a cell search.
We, in the on-site Pharmacy in a prison receive evidence bags of unknown medicines/substances, sometimes the officers think these may be a CD but these are not confirmed.
Does anyone have any policies which would deal with the appropriate disposal of these medicines/substances
Should those thought possibly to the CDs be disposed of as CDs? Often all markings are obliterated so we cannot identify the substance/tablet
