Health Education England’s Commission on Education and Training for Patient Safety has invited Imperial College London to collect evidence and review current education and training, to identify best practice and help make recommendations for the future to improve healthcare quality and safety.
They want to hear from individuals including patients and health staff from all levels and disciplines, as well as experts and organisations with an interest in improving the quality and safety of healthcare through education and training.
Please share your experiences of where evidence and training is making a difference to the safety of patients.
If you would like to submit feedback as part of the RPS response, please answer the below questions:
1. How have you been involved in patient safety education and training? (e.g. as a healthcare worker, trainee, an educator, family member, carer or patient)
2. What worked well in your experience with patient safety education and training?
3. What could have been improved?
4. Do you have any other feedback or suggestions?
Please submit responses to [email protected] by 4th September 2015.
