Our CCG practices are quite keen to reduce the amount of unecessary unlicensed medicines they prescribe. We have been working with them over the past year by supplying practice prescribing leads with EPACT data for their specials and suggesting licensed alternatives if appropriate.
However the amount of uncoded specials being reported by EPACT is increasing, we had 1000 in the last quarter. Does anyone know how we could identify these prescriptions using EMIS-Web? Is there a search we could do? I can't seem to be able to do it using population reporting function.
I'm also keen to avoid recalling all the prescriptions because of the amount of paperwork.
Thanks in advance
