From the 1st November 2018, the law changes widening access to cannabis-based products for medicinal use in humans in England, Scotland and Wales. (See The Misuse of Drugs (Amendments) (Cannabis and Licence Fees) (England, Wales and Scotland) Regulations 2018).

Cannabis-based product for medicinal use in humans’ can be available for medicinal use if:

  1. it meets the definition of ‘cannabis-based product for medicinal use in humans
  2. it is accessed through one of the three routes available.
