Reclassification Guide

More medicines are being reclassified from Prescription-Only Medicines (POMs) to Pharmacy (P) medicines.

Other medicines, such as oral lidocaine-containing products for teething in children, have been reclassified from General Sale List (GSL) medicines to Pharmacy (P) medicines.

We've produced guidance to support you when selling or supplying these medicines.
