Where can I apply for placements?

The Pharmacist Support website has a great list of where you can apply for placements in different sectors of pharmacy. You should also keep an eye on the BPSA News section as they may announce when applications for summer placements are open.

Thinking ahead?

You might be starting to think about the kinds of roles you'd like to go into once you finish your degree. Our careers information section has information and videos about some of the roles a degree in pharmacy opens up to you.

You may also want to consider how to improve valuable soft skills if you're thinking about going into a patient-facing role.

RPS Library

As an RPS member, you have access to over 30 e-books, focusing on some key topics in pharmacy. Such as Dale & Appelbe's Pharmacy Law & Ethics, Maudsley Prescribing Guidelines.

You also have access to the Medline, CINAHL, International Pharmaceutical Abstracts and the Biomedical Reference collection databases through our e-library. Allowing you to find evidence-based information, which you can use in your projects and assignments. 

There's also training webinars available to help you use the databases and find trustworthy information.
