Quick reference guide
We have developed this guide to encourage pharmacists to manage conflicts of interest, by declaring interests appropriately.
This protects the reputation of pharmacy and pharmacists, assures professional integrity and public confidence in pharmacy, whilst enabling collaborative working and constructive dialogue with suppliers of goods and services to the NHS, to continue to flourish through openness and transparency.
There are well known published concerns about actual and potential conflicts of interest across the NHS, in addition to scrutiny from the media, the public and government across Great Britain.
This guide should be helpful to pharmacists working across Great Britain, whether they work for the NHS or outside of it.
