To coincide with Giving Tuesday, we're partnering with charity Pharmacist Support. Switch to annual Direct Debit now, and we'll donate £10 to help fund Pharmacist Support's vital services for pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists and pharmacy students. We'll donate on behalf of the first 100 members who switch to annual Direct Debit before 15 December.

Pharmacist Support is a trusted independent charity providing a range of free and confidential services to pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists, trainees and MPharm students across GB. Their support includes an information and enquiry service, financial assistance, specialist advice in the areas of debt, benefits and employment law, a wellbeing service (including Wardley Wellbeing Hub packed with resources, workshops and webinars), a peer to peer listening service (Listening Friends) and Addiction Support Programme. The above offer is made by The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, a Royal Chartered Company registered under number RC000799 (“RPS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and subject to the following terms and conditions.

  1. The offer is open to existing and new members paying by debit or credit card and switching to annual Direct Debit payment by 15 December 2020
  2. The offer is not available to monthly Direct Debit payments
  3. The 5% discount on membership fees will apply to subsequent membership years for as long as the member continues to pay by annual Direct Debit
  4. To be eligible for the £10 donation to Pharmacist Support, the member must have their annual Direct Debit set up by 15 December 2020
  5. Only the first 100 members who have their annual Direct Debit in place by 15 December 2020 are eligible for this offer
  6. One donation of £10 to Pharmacist Support per member per annual membership year
  7. There is no cash alternative to the donation
  8. The offer (or any part of it) is non-transferable
  9. We shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect ourselves and others against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of the member
  10. We shall not be liable for any interruption to this offer whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond our control
  11. We shall not be liable for any action or omission by any third party
  12. We reserve the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the terms and conditions of this offer

Direct Debit Guarantee

  • This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.
  • If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit the Royal Pharmaceutical Society will notify you ten working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request the Royal Pharmaceutical Society to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.
  • If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society or your bank or building society you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society.
  • If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when the Royal Pharmaceutical Society asks you to.
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
