Nominating Fellows
Any Member of the Society can nominate another Member for a Fellowship providing the nominee meets the eligibility criteria above. To nominate someone you'll need to download the guidelines and nomination form below.
The nominator’s proposal should be supported by two further Members and either the nominator or at least one of the supporters must be a Fellow.
Anyone nominating a Member for a Fellowship is asked to complete the nomination form and provide a supporting statement.
The two supporters are also asked to provide supporting statements.
A CV is required by the Panel.
Please note that if you are nominating a family member for Fellowship, although a supporting statement is welcome, it is advisable not to act as the primary nominator.
Group nominations will not be accepted by the Panel. Each person should be nominated on a separate nomination form, as the Panel needs to assess the unique contribution of each individual in assessing a person for Fellowship.
Please complete all parts of the form, answer all of the questions and provide supporting statements and a CV as a decision can normally only be made on the evidence submitted as part of the nomination process
If the procedure is not followed and an incomplete nomination is submitted the Panel may not be able to accept it.

As the nominator of a prospective Fellow, you want to do your professional colleague justice when you complete the nomination form. But how do you make sure your submission makes it easy for the Panel of Fellows to understand what sets this pharmacist apart and see clearly why the Award should be made?

Appointing Fellows
The Assembly appointed Panel of Fellows review all nominations and determine who will be awarded a Fellowship of the Society.
Nominations can be submitted at any time by sending your nomination forms to [email protected].
The Panel meet twice a year in May and November to consider the nominations and make a decision.
The list of individuals who have been awarded Fellowships is published in the Pharmaceutical Journal following the Assembly meeting where the names are presented.

Fellows of the Society are invited to attend the Annual Fellows' Dinner and Reception. Unfortunately the 2020 dinner on Thursday 4 June at The Law Society had to be cancelled, and all face-to-face RPS Events are now cancelled until further notice.
