Hi, I'm Zoe, the lead for RPS in Beds & Herts.
RPS in Beds & Herts gives you the chance to develop and support fellow pharmacists who live and work nearby, as well as an opportunity to build a professional network.
We provide a chance for face-to-face meetings outside of a work environment, raising the profile of pharmacy with a variety of groups, organisations and individuals.
What we do
We aim to deliver events and support opportunities that meet the needs of all our members, from all professional backgrounds.
We try to hold our events in locations that are easily reachable as we know many people will be travelling to our events after a busy day in work. We try to move to other venues as often as possible, to allow members from all Beds & Herts areas to get involved.
We've recently kick started our activity in the Beds & Herts area and have so far focused our efforts on supporting people with the following topics:
- Mental Health
We love working with other pharmacy organisations and hold regular collaborative events with the Centre for Postgraduate Pharmacy Education (CPPE).
Who we are
RPS in Beds & Herts is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers and all have one thing in common; they all want to put pharmacy on the forefront of healthcare.
A few of our steering group members include:
- Dr Zoe Aslanpour - Academic Pharmacist
- Zara Mehra - CPPE representative
How can I hear more from my local group?
