Hi, I'm Sally and I'm the lead for RPS in Surrey.
RPS In Surrey gives you the chance to develop and support fellow pharmacists who live and work nearby, as well as an opportunity to build a professional network.
We provide a chance for face-to-face meetings outside of a work environment, raising the profile of pharmacy with a variety of groups, organisations and individuals.
What we do
We aim to deliver events and support opportunities that meet the needs of all our members, from all professional backgrounds.
We usually hold our events in a city central location, but often move to other venues to allow members from all areas of Surrey to get involved.
Over the past 12 months, our events have covered topics including:
- Mental Health
- Patient Safety.
- Our hugely successful RPS Local Conference, which focused on mental health.
We love working with other pharmacy organisations and hold regular collaborative events with the Centre for Postgraduate Pharmacy Education (CPPE).
Who we are
RPS in Surrey is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers and all have one thing in common; they all want to put pharmacy on the forefront of healthcare.
Some of group members include:
- Sally Greensmith - Education and Training
- James Andrews - Second care
- James Woods - Community Pharmacist / LPC
- Perminder Oberai - Primary Care Pharmacist
