Welcome to the home of the RPS in Thames Valley
Hi, I'm Catherine, the lead for RPS in Thames Valley.

RPS in Thames Valley gives you the chance to develop and support fellow pharmacists who live and work nearby, as well as an opportunity to build a professional network.

We provide a chance for face-to-face meetings outside of a work environment, raising the profile of pharmacy with a variety of groups, organisations and individuals.

What we do

We aim to deliver events and support opportunities that meet the needs of all our members, from all professional backgrounds.

We usually hold our events on the in a city central location, with the majority of our events being held in Slough, led by Jane Nicholson.  We also hold events across the patch, mainly in Oxford and High Wycombe.   Due the nature of our location, we have great links with the pharmaceutical industry and often hold events relating to the pharmaceutical industry.

Over the past 12 months, our events have covered topics including:

  • Dementia
  • Neurology
  • Mental Health
  • Revalidation
  • FMD
  • Cardiovascular disease

We love working with other pharmacy organisations and hold regular collaborative events with the Centre for Postgraduate Pharmacy Education (CPPE).

Who we are

RPS in Thames Valley is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers and all have one thing in common; they all want to put pharmacy on the forefront of healthcare.

Members of our group are:

  • Catherine Renaud
  • Jane Nicholson
  • Carol Trower
