Hi, I'm Elen Haf Jones and I am the RPS Local Coordinator for North Wales.
I am also the Education and Training Service Lead Pharmacist for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. I live on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey and am a fluent Welsh speaker. I enjoy running and am a member of the Cybi Striders running club. I started running in 2013 and completed my first marathon and the Snowdon race in 2016.
What we do
RPS Gogledd Cymru gives you the chance to develop and support fellow pharmacists who live and work in North Wales, as well as an opportunity to build a professional network.
Our local group also provides a chance for face-to-face meetings outside of a work environment, raising the profile of pharmacy with a variety of groups, organisations and individuals.
We aim to deliver events and support opportunities that meet the needs of all our members, from all professional backgrounds.
Over the past 12 months, our events have covered topics including:
- Mental Health
- Independent Prescribing in Community Pharmacy
- Pharmacy Research
We love working with other organisations and hold regular collaborative events with Pharmacy Research Wales, HEIW Pharmacy Deanery, Betsi Cadwalladr Health Board and more.
How can I hear more from my local group?
It's easy - make sure you're signed up to our events newsletter in your My RPS Communications Preferences.
If you're on Facebook, why not join our RPS Gogledd Cymru group - and don't forget to say hi!
