RPS Scotland Fellows' Event
Discuss Scottish Pharmacy Board Workplan, update on pharmacogenomics, network and celebrate the award of the charter medal to Jonathan Burton

Dear Colleagues,
We are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our RPS Fellows’ Event on Wednesday 22 March at 44 Melville Street, Edinburgh, EH3 7HF, RPS’s Scottish home in Edinburgh. This is a gentle reminder to encourage people who have not yet responded to the invitation to let us know by Sunday 5 March for catering purposes.
As Chair of the Panel of Fellows, I am very aware of the fact that the Fellows represent an important resource for our Society, yet historically this resource has been underutilised. One of the key purposes of the event on 22 March is to change that in Scotland. The event will provide an opportunity for Fellows to meet members of the Scottish Pharmacy Board, hear about current plans and share ideas on how to achieve the work plan and have successful events. We want to make Fellowship meaningful and hear your views.
There will also be two talks- one looking back at the history of pharmacy and one looking forward and hearing about the potential of pharmacogenomics. We also hope you will stay for the evening networking reception and help celebrate as Jonathan Burton is presented with the RPS Charter Award.
A slightly revised agenda for the day can be read here. The day will start with lunch from 1pm, followed by the afternoon programme, leading into the evening reception. You are very welcome to just attend the reception if you are not able to join us in the afternoon, and vice versa.
If you are interested in attending, either for all or part of the day, and have not yet responded please contact [email protected].
I look forward to seeing many of you there, hearing your views and working with you for the benefit of the profession in Scotland.
Best wishes,
Christine Bond
Chair of the Panel of Fellows
