Assembly Member

David is the Deputy Lead for Community Pharmacy Development with NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.  He was previously the Director of Pharmacy for NHS Glasgow and has held various management positions within community pharmacy.

David has a wide range of special interests and sat on a number of groups and committees including being Member of Council RPSGB, Chair of the RPSGB Staff Support Group, a member of RPSGB Law & Ethics Committee and RPSGB branch committee member.  Other positions he now holds include Pharmacy Pioneer & Champion, Chair & Trustee of the Pharmacist Support Charity, and membership of the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists and UKCPA. He is also a founder member of the West of Scotland Local Practice Forum.

David's contribution to pharmacy and RPS was honoured when he became the recipient of the Charter Award in 2015.
