Many of you responded to our survey asking for your views on the challenges and opportunities that have had an impact on your work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- You told us there has been better use of pharmacists’ clinical expertise and new ways of working that you’d like to keep
- You’ve been disappointed by a lack of recognition for all pharmacy teams as part of the NHS
- You’re also keen to see development of the digital infrastructure to improve access to information and enable remote consultations when needed.
We’re holding a summit today bringing together more than 30 NHS and pharmacy organisations from across Great Britain to start a dialogue on how these and other lessons learned from the pandemic can be used to make a positive impact on the future of pharmacy.
You’ll have another opportunity to contribute through a Facebook Live between 7-8pm Wednesday 17th June, where you’ll hear more about the summit and can give us your views. What changes do you think could transform the future of pharmacy practice?
Your feedback will help us adapt to the new pandemic landscape, shape future policy and lobbying activity, and engage with other professions and external stakeholders.

If you can’t make it on 17th, the session will be available as a recording afterwards.
