NHS England COVID-19 letters

NHS England has issued three letters.  

Letter 1: Preparing the NHS for the potential impact of the Omicron Variant and other winter pressures

• This letter sets out important actions that NHS England and NHS Improvement are now asking every part of the NHS to put in place to prepare for and respond to the Omicron threat.

Letter 2: National call: next steps for the NHS Covid-19 Vaccine Deployment

• This letter sets out the immediate next steps for deployment.

Letter 3: Second phase for children and young people aged 12 to 15

• This letter sets out next steps on second dose vaccination for healthy 12- to 15-year-olds following the Government’s acceptance of the updated advice from the Joint Committee for Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
