Primary Care Expert Advisory Group

I have been working in community health services for over 15 years and have extensive experience in primary and secondary care. I am passionate about community health services and am currently the chair of the UKCPA Community health Services Group.

The COVID-19 pandemic whilst having been a challenge, has raised the profile of community health services. I am proud to have been part of an amazing pharmacy team that successfully led the mobilisation of multiple bedded inpatient units across the organisation and supported our overstretched community teams.

I am privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead the pharmacy team at the Nightingale Hospital, London during the 2nd wave of the pandemic and through effective team working delivered a safe and effective pharmacy service through a system of rapid cycle learning to implement change.

I aspire to deliver quality and improvement at every opportunity and hope to engage and influence colleagues across health and social care in order to bring about positive change with the support and expertise of this group. I am hard working, resilient and most importantly believe that strong pharmacy leadership in primary care is needed to support the delivery of an effective integrated care system which meets the needs of our patients.
