So this has been a topic on my mind for quite a while now, being a pharmacy student currently in my final year I have been advised by my peers and lecturers to always be curious, so I guess I am being a little curious.
De prescribing seems to me to be a great thing and something that should be encouraged in modern day practice, yet patients are coming into hospitals and are leaving hospitals with still a lot of medicines especially the elderly folk.
So my question is essentially what more needs to be done in order for deprescribing to be an essential part of patient centred care?
