Ash Soni, RPS President, FIP
RPS President Ash Soni was elected as one of three new Vice-Presidents of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) at the FIP Congress in Glasgow.
Ash said: “I am humbled and honoured and hope I can fulfill people's expectations of me. It is an expression of our role in FIP from an RPS perspective and we will have even greater influence on the work of FIP and what it produces. The new role offers the opportunity to hear about more of the things going on elsewhere and to use the evidence base from FIP to support the role and utilisation of pharmacists in GB as well.”
The other two Vice-Presidents are Carlos Lacava from Uruguay and Samira Shammas from Jordan. Dominique Jordan, a community pharmacist from Switzerland, was elected as FIP President.
