RPS spokesperson and Deputy Director for Scotland, Aileen Bryson, has been interviewed this morning by BBC Radio Scotland about the access to diet pills online.
Aileen was invited to share her views on a recent story from Aberdeenshire, revealing that a local company gained huge profits making false claims about diet and cancer treatment pills. Aileen reassured listeners that as long as websites are complying with the latest regulations, patients should be reassured about the quality of the medicines they buy online. However, she explained that there's great danger in buying medicines with unknown origin.
