How can pharmacists engage with STPs?

About this webinar

Sustainable Transformation Partnerships (STPs) are bringing together the NHS and local authorities in 44 areas around England to draw up plans for how best to improve health and care for the local population. They aim to help inform how services are commissioned and how future resources are allocated. These are being locally-led, developed in discussion with staff, patients and others in the communities they serve.

Anecdotal evidence has shown that local engagement with all the health professions has varied across the country, but there are examples of where pharmacists are making their voices heard and helping to shape plans for the future. At the same time, many plans are quite high-level and the coming year will see an important phase for how these will work in practice.

This webinar aims to help explain what STPs are, what they mean for pharmacy teams, and hears from pharmacy leaders about practical ways that pharmacists can engage with and influence local service transformation.
