HEE launches new independent prescriber training for pharmacists

Health Education England has announced new funded Independent Prescriber courses for pharmacists, which will be available before March 2022.

There are places available for both Independent Prescribing (IP) and Clinically EnhancedIndependent Prescribing (CEPIP). Pharmacists who meet the eligibility criteria should apply to the course providers directly.

Provision will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. For pharmacists who are not in a position to apply for this initial offer, HEE has said a further round of funded Independent Prescriber training that will be available from Autumn 2022.
