Danny Bartlett (left) has been elected to the vacancy on the English Pharmacy Board in this year’s Board elections, and Sarwat (Sorbi) Khattak (middle) has been elected for a period of one year to fill the casual vacancy. Richard Evans (right) has been elected unopposed to the vacancy on the Welsh Pharmacy Board.
Elections did not take place in Scotland this year.
RPS President Professor Claire Anderson said:
“Congratulations to Danny and Sorbi who were elected to the English Pharmacy Board, and to Richard who was elected to the Welsh Pharmacy Board. I look forward to working with them to champion the profession and put pharmacy at the forefront of healthcare.
“I’d also like to thank the other candidates who stood for election but were not successful on this occasion.”
The new Board members will take up their places at the next National Board meetings in June.
