Aiysha Raoof

Primary Care Expert Advisory Group

Hello, my name is Aiysha Raoof and I am Clinical Pharmacist in Primary Care. I am based in the GP/PCN world and also part of the Enhanced Health in Care Homes (EHCH) multidisciplinary team.

I graduated from my MPharm at The University of Nottingham in 2018 and undertook my Pre-Registration year in the hospital sector with exposure to community, GP and mental health sectors. After completing my training year, I was fortunate to head straight into Primary Care and have been here since.

The other roles I hold in primary care include; Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS Racial Equity and Diversity co-lead and co-lead for the EDI network at Primary Integrated Community Services (PICS).

In addition, I am the co-owner of PharmaSense, a medical education company providing education and career development support to Pharmacists, Medics and AHPs.

I am currently completing the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway, the University of Bradford MSc in Foundation Pharmacy Practice and shall be commencing the Independent Prescribing course this year.

My hope is for the group to combine our passion for pharmacy and primary care, to ensure we advocate and champion the workforce, drive change and support the development of Primary Care Pharmacists.
