By 2030, the consultant pharmacist will be:
- An integral part of the pharmacy and wider healthcare team in all sectors of the UK
- Supporting the delivery of a national workforce strategy aligned to health priorities across the devolved nations
- Driving improvements in patient and population health outcomes supported by a clear evidence base of the role’s impact
- Seen and, be acting, as clinical leaders for the pharmacy profession
- Recognised, understood and valued by the public and other healthcare professionals
- Annotated on the GPhC register and/or listed on the RPS directory of credentialed members.
