2019 National Pharmacy Board Election Results

English Pharmacy Board

11 nominations were received for five substantive places on the EPB.

The following candidates have been elected:

Andre YEUNG

Tracey THORNLEY

Sibby BUCKLE

Duncan PETTY

David CARTER

A casual vacancy on the English Pharmacy Board arose during the course of the election. As a result, in accordance with the Regulations, Brendon JIANG, as the sixth place candidate, is appointed to the EPB to fill this vacancy. Their term of office will come to an end on the effective date in June 2021.


Scottish Pharmacy Board 

Six nominations were received for three substantive places on the SPB.

The following candidates have been elected:

John MCANAW

Brian ADDISON

Kathleen COWLE


Welsh Pharmacy Board

Four nominations were received.

Ruth MITCHELL has been elected unopposed to the Community Pharmacy (Employee) post.��

Sudhir SEHRAWAT has been elected unopposed to the Community Pharmacy (Contractor) post. 

An election for the Any Sector substantive post was held and the following candidate is elected:

Jamie HAYES

A casual vacancy on the Welsh Pharmacy Board arose during the course of the election. As a result, in accordance with the Regulations, Adam MACKRIDGE, as the second place candidate, is appointed to the Board to fill this vacancy. Their term of office will come to an end on the effective date in June 2021.
