Term & Conditions for our CPCS Workshops Prize Draw

These are the terms and conditions applicable to the prize draw advertised in relation to the CPCS Workshops.

These are the terms and conditions applicable to the prize draw advertised in relation to the CPCS Workshops

1 How to participate

1.1 In order to enter this promotion, register to attend the CPCS workshop or go to this registration form and enter the information requested (in the event you have already completed the CPCS workshop before July 2021) between the start date and end date as set out in Clause 2 and 3 respectively.

1.2 All entries must include your first name, surname, email address (which must correspond with the email provided when registering your attendance to the CPCS workshop) and CPCS booking reference number.

1.3 Entries that do not comply with these promotion rules will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

1.4 The prize draw is only open to delegates who live and work in Great Britain and:

1.4.1 delegates who have attended both sessions and completed the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) workshops hosted by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain between the first and last day of each calendar month; or 

1.4.2 entered the promotion using this registration form the first and last day of each calendar month.

1.5 No payment is necessary to enter this promotion.

1.6 You may only submit one entry to this promotion. Entries over the maximum number of entries will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

2 Start date

This promotion will start on the 1st July 2021.

3 Closing date

The closing date for this promotion will be on 31st August 2021. Entries received by the promoter after this time will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

4 Selection of the winner

4.1 There will be one winner of this promotion.

4.2 The winner of the prize draw will be the first entrant randomly selected from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

5 Prize

5.1 The prize is as follows:

5.1.1 One BACS payment of £500.

5.2 There is no alternative prize.

5.3 The prize is non-transferable and does not include any additional costs and expenses.

6 Restrictions and requirements

6.1 Please note the following restrictions and requirements apply:

6.1.1 entrants must have attended and completed the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) workshops hosted by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain between the start date and end date specified in Clause 2 and Clause 3 respectively;

6.1.2 live and work in Great Britain;

6.1.3 employees of the promoter and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this promotion.

7 Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

7.1 The promoter will notify the winner by email within 28 days after the end date specified in Clause 3 above.

7.2 The winner will receive their prize within 28 days of the closing date.

8 Publicity and personal information

8.1 The promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.

8.2 The surname and county of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to [email protected] 28 days after the closing date.

8.3 If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, you must notify the promoter a reasonable period of time before the closing date of the promotion.

8.4 You acknowledge that you may be asked to participate in publicity if you are selected as a winner.

9 General

9.1 This promotion is operated by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, a company incorporated under England by Royal Charter (RC000799) and having its principal place of business at 66-68 East Smithfield, London, E1W 1AW.

9.2 While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the promotion or which are caused by a third party.

9.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
