Upgrading your membership
Students can upgrade their membership to Associate once they
successfully complete their studies (MPharm, OSPAP or equivalent) and
Associate members may upgrade to full membership upon passing their
pre-reg exam and registering with the GPhC. If you become eligible to
upgrade to another category of membership and do not then your
membership will lapse.
If you are eligible for an upgrade, you will see an 'Upgrade my membership' message on your 'My RPS' page (which is accessible once you have logged into the website).
This will take you to the upgrade form where we will ask you to check the details we hold for you are correct, and
accept our terms and conditions and then we will confirm the new price
you'll pay and ask how you would like to pay this fee.
Changing your membership category
If you'd like to change your membership category or apply for discounts,
for example, if you've retired or are pregnant. You should
update your details in My Profile. Any reduction in fees will be applied at your next renewal. Find out more about eligibility.
I've got an receipt from World Pay, but not a confirmation email from RPS
Rarely, an issue with World Pay causes information not to be fed back into our system, so you will receive a confirmation email from World Pay but not from ourselves. Don't worry, simply call our Membership team on 0845 257 2570 with your World Pay reference number.
