2.1.5Conflicts of interest

It is important to declare conflicts of interest appropriately whether they are actual or potential. An actual conflict of interest is when one or more interests materially conflict. A potential conflict of interest is where there is a possibility of a conflict between one or more interests in the future. Some examples of conflicts of interest include:

  • Having another job or receiving consultancy fees (i.e. having an outside employment) which impacts upon another role
