Cannabis contains more than 400 chemical
constituents, including cannabinoids, terpenoids
and phenolic compounds, many of which have
potential for medicinal use. The most common
of the cannabinoids are the psychoactive
compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and the
non-psychoactive compound cannabidiol (CBD).
